The mission of the South Mississippi Angel Fund (SMAF) is to increase the opportunity for investors to improve the diversity of their portfolio while encouraging innovation and economic opportunity in South Mississippi. The fund is led, designed, and funded by local investors, who assist in identifying, evaluating, and placing private investments. The fund has directly increased the economic growth and performance of Southern Mississippi, from Hattiesburg to the Gulf Coast, and will collectively improve the economic sustainability and prosperity of its residents.
